The 2nd Annual Veterans' Memorial Run and Walk will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 8th at the Muskogee Civic Center. The run will use the one mile parade route downtown, which will be majestically lined with 300 American flags. Participants will run or walk as far as they can in one hour. This fundraiser benefits Sadler 7th and 8th graders' annual Oklahoma bus tour and a future Veterans' Memorial Monument for the museum district. For information: (918) 684-3820
Thanks to everyone who came and donated blood! Sadler was able to collect 50 units of lifesaving blood this year. Mrs. Jamison's third grade class learned about the importance of helping others. Mrs. Jamison shared her story about the 36 units of blood that saved her life. Mrs. Jamison's third graders were eager to 'give back' to the community and help organize and run the blood drive.
