Highlighted Accomplishments
•       The Reeds Spring School District earned Missouri’s  "Distinction in Performance" award for high academic achievement 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, and 2010-11. 
•       Reeds Spring Elementary was recognized for having significant academic growth in Communication Arts and Math from 2006 to 2010, a five year span, by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Student Growth Project
•       In 2006-07, Reeds Spring Elementary was recognized as one of four schools in Missouri noted for doing (RtI ) Response to Intervention correctly by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
•       The Missouri Professional Learning Communities Assessment Committee recognized Reeds Spring Elementary as being an “Exemplary Professional Learning Community in May of 2009.  May of 2009 was our year to be assessed.
•       Created student data disaggregation procedures to assess students’ strengths and weaknesses, and determine areas needing improvements.
•       Created a Professional Community Leadership Team and provided effective training of instructional strategies for improvements and common core alignment in math, reading and writing, social studies, and science.
•       Approximately 30 school districts have visited for on-site presentations on how to implement (RtI) Response to Intervention, What it means to be an effective (PLC) Professional Learning Community, Data-Based Decision Making, and Teamwork 
•       I have presented on how to:  Prevent Data Disasters, (RtI) Response to Intervention, and on Becoming an Effective (PLC) Professional Learning Community, for state and national conferences.
